    This 11-day South African journey combines Cape Town, the Franschhoek winelands and a Big Five safari in the Timbavati. Starting in Cape Town, you will have time to explore the city and its coastline before heading into the winelands around Franschhoek. From there, fly to the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve for several days of safari, with the chance to see the Big Five and a wide variety of other wildlife. The itinerary uses comfortable mid-range accommodation throughout and offers a good mix of sightseeing, food and wine, and time in the bush.

    Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met for your transfer to The Commodore Hotel to spend 4 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. As Australian passport holders, no visa is required for South Africa for tourist stays of up to 90 days. This evening is at your leisure to settle in and explore the nearby V&A Waterfront.
