The Mulanje Massif is a large inselberg in southern Malawi, characterized by its dramatic granite peaks, deep gorges, and high-altitude plateaus. It is the highest mountain in Central Africa, with its highest point, Sapitwa Peak, reaching over 3,000 meters. The massif is a popular destination for hiking and climbing, offering a network of well-maintained trails and rustic mountain huts.
