The Onderhuis at Keurbosfontein offers an exclusive farm stay experience in the breathtaking Red Cederberg. This historic family farm, with its almost 200-year-old main farmhouse and other carefully restored buildings, transports guests back to a simpler way of life. Guests have the entire farm to themselves, ensuring privacy and an immersive experience within this tranquil setting. Known as the "rose farm," Keurbosfontein boasts over 40 varieties of roses that bloom spectacularly in spring alongside vibrant wildflowers. The farm is also home to a variety of fruit and oak trees, some over 150 years old, and a small greenhouse and vegetable garden where guests are welcome to harvest fresh produce. The newly added WaenhuisKombuis, a purpose-built kitchen in the old wagon house, provides a central entertainment area with an open fireplace for cooking, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere year-round.
